Normal birth, in which the birth takes place without intervention as much as possible, is mostly in the 37-42nd week of pregnancy. takes place between weeks. The normal birth process, which starts with contractions and pain, occurs as the cervix opens and the baby passes through the birth canal.
Natural birth or vaginal birth consists of 3 stages. In the first stage, contractions are observed in the uterine region, which gradually become more frequent. With the onset of contractions, the cervix opens up to 9-10 cm in a period of 14-18 hours. The contractions of the mother and the heartbeat of the baby are checked at regular intervals to provide the necessary conditions for a healthy normal delivery. The second stage covers the birth of the baby. In the last stage, the baby placenta also leaves the mother's body and the birth is completed.
