Cesarean Birth

The type of birth in which the baby is delivered by surgical operation is called cesarean section. In cesarean delivery, an incision is made in the mother's abdomen. In cases where normal birth may be risky, cesarean delivery can be started with the advice of the physician. Cesarean delivery may occur due to different reasons. The situations in which cesarean delivery can occur can be listed as follows:
 

• Giving birth to twins or more

• Inappropriate position of the baby

• Inadequate opening of the cervix

• Adequate progress of the baby on the birth path

• There is a risk to the baby's health

• The mother's health is not conducive to normal delivery

• Problems with the placenta
