Endometrial Biopsy

The process of taking a piece of the inner layer of the uterus is called endometrial biopsy. The piece taken from the tissue inside the uterus for pathological examination gives information about the health status of the uterine layer. Uterine biopsy is done to reveal the causes of abnormal bleeding. It is effective in prediagnosing diseases by contributing to the understanding of whether there is an abnormal condition in the cells.
