Endometriosis

The endometrium layer, which is the innermost part of the uterus, can be found outside the uterus for various reasons. This disease, which is mostly seen in the lower abdomen, can also occur in different parts of the body. Endometriosis, also known as a chocolate cyst, is seen in most women of reproductive age. Chocolate cyst, diagnosed by gynecological examination, is considered among the important causes of infertility. Cysts that occur in the reproductive organs can prevent the egg from reaching the tubes due to their adhesion. In some cases, it can negatively affect the formation of pregnancy by causing obstruction at the end of the tubes.
